Who we are
We started Tuelang because every German class we'd taken treated us like a textbook, not a person — lonely apps, packed lecture halls, no one to actually speak with. So we built the opposite: small live cohorts, real teachers who know your name, and a community that keeps you going long after motivation runs out.
Real classes with a real teacher and a handful of classmates — never a pre-recorded course you watch alone.
You're learning with people who answer your questions, correct your mistakes, and notice when you go quiet.
Order coffee, navigate a city, talk about your work — the German you actually use, not the horse drinks milk.
Our approach
Most people fail at language learning not because they're not smart — but because the method was wrong. Here's what we do differently.
No passive memorisation. From your very first session, you're talking. Stumbling is part of it — that's how the brain locks things in.
A real teacher listens to how you sound and corrects what actually matters — something no app can replicate.
You won't memorise the horse drinks milk. You'll learn to order coffee, navigate Berlin, and talk about your job.
Every week builds on the last. Concepts return in new contexts so they move from short-term memory to real fluency.
Meet the teachers
No faceless ops team. Real humans who teach your classes and answer when you ask.
